The ability to
quickly and easily create iSCSI targets incredibly easy.
Transfer via the iSCSI connection are fast and minimal
CPU load. Truly impressive product. The Support that I
have gotten, requesting new feature, is reason enough to
recommend to anyone/everyone. By day, I am a DBA.
I can appreciate the simplicity that LDisk has
incorporated into the product and yet the power it

I was going to use the Microserver as a WSS, but I need
something that will backup the family's PCs with no
fuss. LDisk would seem to be the answer to my prayers
then. Meaning I can have an iSCSI target AND a WHS!

I created a 12TB NAS pool and have found it to be
easy,
reliable, and robust, even when transferring
hundreds of GB at a time, to and from the server. I have
been achieving error-free sustained transfer rates of
90+MBps over my GigE LAN. I find that being able to
carve out volumes to provide for duplication especially
useful.
